Chinese Learner English Corpus (CLEC)
Description CLEC contains 1 million words of English compositions collected from Chinese learners of English with differing levels of proficiency, covering senior secondary school students, English-major, and non-English-major university students in China. The corpus is error tagged according to an error marking scheme of 61 types of error, including various lexical, grammatical, semantic and sentence level errors. These tags have been retained in this version.
